Student-Athlete and Families Webinar
The Eligibility Center is hosting a separate webinar for college-bound student-athletes and their families on Sunday, Nov. 3. Please share this message with your students and encourage them to attend this important event.
Athletics Aid Agreements
Starting with the 2024-25 academic year, prospective student-athletes in their senior year of high school will still have the opportunity to sign an athletics aid agreement with the recruiting NCAA Division I or II school but will not sign a separate National Letter of Intent. Once a prospective student-athlete signs the member school’s athletics aid agreement, coaches from other NCAA schools must cease communication with the prospective student-athlete and individuals associated with the signed prospect (e.g., family members, scholastic coach, non-scholastic coach, advisor). This signed athletics aid agreement establishes the recruiting commitment between the college-bound student-athlete and school.
Note: Students are prohibited from signing with multiple schools at the same time and must be released by the signing school before contact with another school can occur. Click here for additional information on how to update a student's status.
Updated Transfer Guides Now Available
The NCAA's guides for Two-Year Transfers and Four-Year Transfers have been updated for the 2024-25 academic year. Each guide is specific for those student-athletes transferring from two- or four-year universities. Please share with any transfer recruits to ensure they are aware of the steps necessary to transfer and any potential impact on their eligibility once they get to your campus. If you have either guide saved on your system, be sure to replace the file with this year's version.
Reminder: Attestations Due Nov. 1
As a reminder, the 2023-24 attestation period officially opened Sept. 3. Members have until Nov. 1 to attest to whether or not they met membership requirements during the 2023-24 academic year.
In response to membership feedback, we have introduced a new Docusign option to ensure an efficient process.
This new process now takes just two minutes to complete. More than 25% of members have not yet completed their attestation! Please take a few minutes to ensure your school meets this required deadline. For more information on the attestation process, review the attestation webpage.
In response to membership requests, the Membership Portal's Search Student Details Report has been enhanced to include historical recruitment cycles. Member schools can now search for and run reports on IRL activations back to the 2015-2016 certification cycle.
To search for prior certification cycle IRL lists, simply select the preferred cycle from the Recruitment Cycle dropdown.

Enrollment Periods/Request Final Amateurism Certification
As of Oct. 1, students initially enrolling full-time at an NCAA Division I or II school in the winter/spring 2025 term could begin requesting final amateurism certification in their Eligibility Center account. Before making the request, students should make final updates to their sports participation questionnaire, verify their self-reported graduation date and confirm their enrollment period is accurate.
We currently have over 1,200 eligible student-athletes who need to request final amateurism—is your recruit one of them? Share this quick video on this simple process with your recruits and help avoid certification delays!
