Request Final Amateurism Opens April 1
For Fall 2024 Enrollees |
|
| Starting April 1, students initially enrolling in the fall 2024 semester can request their final amateurism certification via their Eligibility Center account. Before making this request, fall 2024 enrollees must select the NCAA enrollment period that reflects initial full-time enrollment at their first NCAA Division I, II or III school. |
|
|
|
Please continue using the “Open Tasks Report – Action Required” report to identify accounts with the “Incomplete Sports Participation Response” task to determine which students need to update their sports participation questionnaire before requesting final amateurism certification. After making the request, make sure your students promptly respond to newly assigned tasks, including requests for academic records needed to assign graduation dates. |
|
Do you know how to check your international student-athlete’s amateurism certification status? Follow the steps below to check your student’s certification decision.
-
In the Membership Portal, click on Reports, then select Search Student Details.
-
Search for the student-athlete using their NCAA ID, first/last name or sport. Be sure you are searching with the correct recruitment cycle!
-
Once you’ve found the student-athlete, check the box next to their NCAA ID then choose Get PSA Details, located at the bottom of the screen.
-
Next, click on the student-athlete’s name (highlighted in light blue) and review the Amateurism Information section.
-
If your student-athlete does not have a final amateurism certification decision, scroll down to the Student Tasks section to review what information is still needed to complete the account.
