End-of-Year Reminders

1. Upload Final Transcripts.

Visit the High School Portal to upload final transcripts with proof of graduation to your student-athlete's Eligibility Center account. If you have never uploaded a student-athlete's transcript, click here to learn how. If you have additional semesters included since the last upload, please continue to upload these transcripts now so that the Eligibility Center may complete preliminary reviews.

2. Update Core-Course Lists.

Update your school's core-course list by visiting the High School Portal. If you believe your school's list is accurate, please log in to verify you have no updates. This will refresh your account and let our team know your core-course list is correct.

3. Request Final Amateurism.

Remind your student-athletes enrolling this fall to request their final amateurism certification. Note: This certification is required before your student can play with their college team.

4. Use Code 9999.

Advise your student-athletes to take the SAT/ACT. While the Eligibility Center is not requiring standardized test scores for 2023-24 enrollees, some scholarship programs and NCAA schools may still require test scores. All other classes should use code 9999 to send their SAT/ACT scores directly to us from the testing agency. Note: We cannot accept test scores that have been emailed or appear on a transcript.

Last Chance to Apply to Join the High School Advisory Group

Comprised of high school counselors, administrators and others involved in the high school space nationally, the Eligibility Center's High School Advisory Group videoconferences monthly. Members provide critical insight into the most recent needs, trends and challenges faced by high school counselors, coaches, administrators and others who advocate and support high school student-athletes.
Interested in becoming a member of the High School Advisory Group? To apply, please submit a resume and 500-word statement describing why you would like to serve as a member of the High School Advisory Group to ecupdate@ncaa.org. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, May 31. Incomplete and/or late submissions will not be considered.

Note: Participation in the group is a two-year commitment and requires participation in monthly teleconferences during the academic year.

High School Task Reminders

The High School Review staff routinely assigns tasks to high school and district accounts requesting additional information needed to process students’ academic certifications.
Please take time to review your account to determine if you have any open tasks. Outstanding tasks could delay your students’ academic certification or prevent them from meeting the requirements. To check for open tasks, please log in to your school's account via the High School Portal.

Did you know? You can view documentation previously uploaded by your school or district via tasks on the High School Portal. To view this documentation, log in to your account and click on the “My Documents” tab, as shown below.

Uploading Transfer Student Transcripts

An official high school transcript is required from each high school a student attends. Even if a student no longer attends your high school, an official transcript is still required from your school by the Eligibility Center. Additionally, if your school received an official transcript from another school a student previously attended, you may upload that transcript via the High School Portal. However, please notify the Eligibility Center if you upload a transcript for another high school so that it can be coded correctly in the student’s account.

Sport Science Institute: Mental Health Awareness Month

Sport Science Institute
Counselors, coaches and athletics administrators play a critical role in creating an environment that supports the mental health and well-being of student-athletes.
That’s why the Sport Science Institute developed web-based educational modules to help normalize and destigmatize student-athletes seeking mental health help. The interactive modules provide information to help you promote mental wellness and resiliency and encourage and destigmatize help-seeking for mental health concerns.
