CONNECTED INSIGHTS QUARTERLY UPDATE
FEBRUARY 2026

Inside Perspective

We asked Lauren Miner, a student-athlete at UMass Boston, a few questions.

What was most memorable about the Student Immersion Program? The program was a life-changing experience for me. It’s hard for me to choose the most memorable aspect, but the one that stood out to me was the networking and connections that were made. Meeting people from around the country to connect through our love for Division III athletics and bettering the student-athlete experience was amazing.

What is the best advice you have received from coaches and athletics administrators to help early career professionals, like yourself, get started in Division III athletics? You deserve to be in every room you find a seat in. Each opportunity that is given to you has a purpose; these do not fall into your path; they are placed there because you are capable. You would not be placed in a room if you were not capable of making the most out of it.
