DIVERSITY & INCLUSION QUARTERLY UPDATE
NOVEMBER 2024
Inside Perspective
We asked Casie Runksmeier, Deputy Director of Athletics and SWA at Colby College, a few questions.
What has been your experience with the NCAA Pathway Program? The goal of any professional development opportunity is to continue to learn and grow, to get out of the day-to-day and think more holistically. This program fulfills this opportunity in a deep and profound manner because of its immersive features.
What has allowed you to find success as a SWA? The opportunity to be at the table during campus decision making conversations, attending conference meetings and the NCAA Convention, have created a knowledge level and experience that helps me navigate conversations which help our department.
