It All Starts Here!

Hi ,

Welcome to the NCAA Eligibility Center! When you signed up for your account, you mentioned you went to secondary school in Canada. The Eligibility Center knows about your education system and is here to help you understand what information we need to complete your certification.

Submit your official academic documents as soon as they are available to prevent delays in your certification. Here are a few documents the Eligibility Center needs to get started:

Transcripts

Non-Quebec Canadian Students

For non-Quebec Canadian students, ask your provincial ministry of education to submit official copies of your transcripts for years nine and up. In some provinces, year nine occurs in middle school and a separate ninth grade transcript may be submitted by that school directly to the Eligibility Center.

Quebec Students
For Quebec students, ask your secondary school to submit an official copy of your school-issued Secondary 3 report card. Furthermore, please have your ministry of education submit official copies of your Relevé de Note (which should include Secondary IV and V results), as well as the Diplôme d’Études Secondaires/DES. If you plan to attend a CEGEP program, a CEGEP-issued transcript must also be submitted by the school.

Certified Line-By-Line Translations

If English is not the primary language of instruction at your secondary school or in your country, a certified official line-by-line English translation of your documents may also be required.

NCAA-Approved Core Courses

Each Canadian province has a list of NCAA-approved core courses, developed in conjunction with the provincial ministry of education. Individual secondary schools (public and private) do not need to be reviewed. Click here for more information on a list of approved courses and province-specific information.
