COVID-19 Automatic Waiver—2023-24 Enrollment

NCAA Eligibility Center COVID-19 Response FAQs
Given the continuing impact of COVID-19 on the educational environment, the NCAA Eligibility Center has partnered with the NCAA membership to identify adjustments to the initial-eligibility certification process for students who initially enroll full time in a collegiate institution during the 2023-24 academic year. Click here to learn more about these important adjustments.
These changes may not capture all unique scenarios; however, NCAA Customer Service is available to assist with questions Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Eastern time at 877-622-2321 (domestic students and Canadian students outside of Quebec) and for international students including Quebec at on.ncaa.com/IntlContact.

Uploading Transfer Student Transcripts

An official high school transcript is required from each high school a student attends. Even if a student no longer attends your high school, an official transcript is still required from your school by the Eligibility Center. Additionally, if your high school received an official copy of a student's transcript when they transferred to your high school, you may upload that transcript through the High School Portal. However, please notify the Eligibility Center if you upload a transcript for another high school so that it can be coded correctly in the student’s account.
How to Request Final Amateurism Certification

Request Final Amateurism Beginning April 1

Remember, before requesting final amateurism certifications, your students must verify that their graduation and enrollment dates in their Eligibility Center Certification accounts are accurate. The enrollment date must reflect the term they plan to first enroll at any NCAA Division I or II school. Please review this resource for additional information on this process.
Note: Registration fee issues must be resolved in order for your students to request final amateurism certifications. Please visit the High School Portal to review your Fee Waiver Report and ensure there are no outstanding fee waiver requests. Click here to learn how to submit fee waivers.
