Convention Planning Subcommittee, Dec. 9
Convention sessions. The subcommittee finalized the agendas for various Division III sessions including the Issues Forum and Business Session. Click here for the Division III resource webpage. The subcommittee also continued its discussion of a concept to solicit proposals from the Division III membership to conduct one of division’s educational sessions at the 2026 convention.

Division III Presidents Council Futures Subcommittee, Dec. 12
Purpose and mission. The subcommittee discussed its purpose within the current higher education landscape and ever-changing athletics environment. With the conclusion of last year’s Deloitte review, the Presidents Council (i.e., the owners of the review outcomes) created this subcommittee to assist with additional analysis and implementation recommendations of identified opportunities from the Deloitte review.

The subcommittee also discussed how it will collaborate with the Division III Strategic Planning and Finance Committee and Management Council while reporting to Presidents Council. The subcommittee members will seek feedback and direction from the full Presidents Council during its January meeting.

Division III Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Subcommittee, Dec. 12
Diversity programs. The subcommittee reviewed and discussed recent programs as well as programs scheduled for the 2025 NCAA Convention.

Graduation rates. The subcommittee discussed trends from the latest Division III graduation rate report.

Share Your Stories. Division III is looking to feature more stories from around the membership on social media and through NCAA.com. These stories can showcase the student-athlete experience, a program's community service initiatives, postgraduate achievements, or other significant events at an institution or conference. We want to elevate your stories on our national platforms. To share stories for consideration, please email Katie Mucci at kmucci@ncaa.org with a link to the completed article.

Division III Diversity Grants. The NCAA Division III diversity grants provide funding to institutions and conference offices committed to enhancing ethnic/racial minority and gender representation in athletics administration and assistant coaching positions. The Division III diversity grant application proposals are due by January 27, 2025, at 5 p.m. Eastern. You can find the application on the NCAA Program Hub.
