📈 Division III Analysis and Working Group
When: The working group had two videoconferences in May and will have an in-person meeting in June.
What: A survey distributed to all Division III athletics directors and commissioners in late April garnered a 60% response rate from ADs and an almost 80% response rate from commissioners.
-
The survey asked for feedback on the identified tensions.
-
The working group has used this feedback and stakeholder engagement interviews conducted by the consultants to begin identifying options to mitigate the tensions.
Findings: The consultants highlighted themes that emerged from the membership survey feedback regarding each identified tension. A high-level summary of the survey results will be made available to the membership in June.
➡️ Next steps: The working group will conduct its second in-person meeting June 16 in Indianapolis. During this meeting, it will narrow options and actionable solutions to the highest prioritized tensions.
