What Do Your Athletes Need?
Understanding which Eligibility Center account type is right is an important first step! For student-athletes wanting to play at an NCAA Division I, II or III school, knowing which Eligibility Center account type is right for them is important. |
|
When registering at eligibilitycenter.org, there are three account options. The following information will help you understand which account they need, depending on where they are in the recruiting process and which division they plan to attend. Click here for more information on which account is the right one for your athletes. Keep in mind: Best practice is to start out with a free Profile Page account before the start of ninth grade, then transition to the right Certification account later when needed. |

Getting Ready to Play: Requesting Final Amateurism
Do you have athletes graduating early? For these students to be eligible to practice, compete, or receive an athletics scholarship at an NCAA Division I or II school, they must request their final amateurism from within their Eligibility Center account.
Starting October 1, student-athletes initially enrolling full time at an NCAA Division I or II school in the winter/spring 2024 term could request their final amateurism certification via their Eligibility Center account. The athlete's amateurism will not move forward until it has been requested, and only the student-athlete can take that step. A YouTube video is available for students who have questions about this simple process, or they can contact customer service at 877-262-1492 Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time. |

NCAA Sports Wagering Education
New Module Provides Direction for Student-AthletesEarlier this month, the NCAA launched its first sports wagering e-learning module designed to further educate more than 500,000 current and college-bound student-athletes on problem gambling’s harms and the risks sports wagering poses to the integrity of their games. Following feedback from student-athletes and campus leaders, the NCAA engaged former college athletes, including an NFL player, to better connect with current student-athletes. Topics covered also include NCAA rules and social media harassment. |
| The module is a free, interactive tool that immerses the learner in an educational experience with helpful information, scenarios, Q&As and resources, all delivered by former student-athletes, for student-athletes. Every student-athlete registered with the Eligibility Center will be tasked to complete this module via their Eligibility Center account. |
